Renewals
See what the insurer changed before the client does.
A renewal starts from the terms the client has now. When the insurer's renewal arrives, Policy Ops sets it beside them, so the broker sees every change in premium, sum insured and excess, records the client's decision and accepts the new terms on the right date.
| Item | Current terms | Renewal | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly premium | R780.85 | R842.10 | +R61.25 (7.8%) |
| Household contents | R450 000 | R450 000 | Unchanged |
| Contents excess | R1 000 | R1 500 | Higher |
| Power surge limit | R10 000 | R10 000 | Unchanged |
A fictional household renewal. Supported insurers' schedules are read into this view for the broker to check; others are captured by hand.
Every case
One place for the work that usually lives in inboxes.
Whose turn it is
Renewals, amendments, new business, claims and complaints each show the next step and who owes it: the brokerage, the insurer or the client. Follow-up dates keep nothing waiting unseen.
What came back
When an endorsement doesn't match what the client asked for, the difference shows before anything is accepted. Letters to clients and insurers are drafted from the case and kept exactly as sent.
What happened, months later
The request, every document received, what was corrected and what the client was told stay with the policy. Opening the history answers the question in a minute.
Demonstration
An amendment, from request to corrected policy.
A client asks for two changes. The insurer's endorsement makes one of them. The recording follows the broker as they check the endorsement, ask for a correction, check the replacement and tell the client, before the changed terms are accepted.
All clients, insurers and documents shown are fictional. In a 15-minute walkthrough we show a whole case live and answer your questions.
Cover compared
What the wordings actually say.
When a broker remarkets a renewal, the question is which insurer covers it better. We read insurers' public policy wordings and publish short comparisons on one question at a time: power surge, burst geysers, theft from a vehicle, subsidence, Sasria. Each one names the wording's version and date. Follow Policy Ops on LinkedIn to see them as they come out.
